The micro-peel SM is a rejuvenating procedure and as such is very helpful. It is not a substitute for laser therapy or for medium depth chemical peeling. We generally consider it to be a type of “facial,” rather than a serious peel. The micro-peel SM is refreshing and beneficial to the skin. There is minimal redness and scaling as a result, so there is essentially no “down time.” One may go back to work after a micro-peel SM or go out that evening, after having the procedure done in the afternoon.
